We have just 5 days until school starts so we're making the most of every day! Today the kids and I went to Cottonwood Heights, a local recreation center for some swimming fun. We'd heard from friends about the amazing Olympic size diving platforms at this pool and we were feeling a little Olympic swimming fever having watched the amazing Michael Phelps so we decided to check it out. It was a bit intimidating when we pulled into the parking lot
and saw the ambulance on standby in case of emergency, no kidding! It took all the courage mom had just to watch, but all 3 kids braved the high dives! Even Zach admitted it was a little intimidating, Lauren turned back once, and Claire hesitated up there for an exaggerated pause, but they all conquered their fear and had a blast! Wow, to be a kid- brave and invincible.
